About Easy Rider Repair Co.

Everyone has been hauling their bikes to the local bike shop for tune-ups. That’s the way it’s been for decades, so why change now? In our modern times, many brick and mortar bicycle shops are falling behind the curve and cannot compete with online retailers. The simple fact is that many bike shops are going away for good, and leaving their customers without a trusted mechanic.

Enter the Easy Rider:

Dave has worked at 3 different locations for one bicycle retailer, starting in Southern California back in 2011 and then SE Pennsylvania in 2013 to 2019. As he climbed from sales, to management, to mechanic, he noticed that many of the customers simply weren’t buying the products on display. Instead they would shop but then buy online through eBay or Amazon. Cannot blame the consumer for finding the best deal in our market, more power to them (and more bike parts).

The only real steady business is bicycle service. In the most dire times, service would be the only reason for a bike shop to remain open at all, with sales associates bored to tears. This is why Easy Rider Repair Co. was born. To provide top level service for those who love to ride, but may not have the flexibility or time to wait several weeks for repair turn-around during peak season. No more lugging your bike to the shop, however far it maybe. Let the Easy Rider take care of all that hassle for you, save your time and money, the Easy Rider has got you covered.

This is the beginning of a new era of bicycle service.

Like most Americans, Dave started cycling as a child, but took new roots with road riding in California in his early 20’s. As a century rider, weekend warrior, and daily commuter, he has had just about every experience of roadside repairs, and can quickly get you rolling again. Experienced mechanic from several bike shops, touching every type of bicycle and/or bicycle related product known to human kind. He rides everything from road bikes to MTBs to beach cruisers, and loves each one for different reasons.

Job completion is of utmost importance, and anything short of that is simply unacceptable. Have a bike another mechanic has turned away? Have a bike that your significant other started to fix? Have a bike that just came from another shop/mechanic, but problems persist? Dave specializes in these types of repairs, and has proven that he will not give up when the job becomes absolute hellfire. Just because it is difficult doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be done. This is serious work after all, with specific tools and know-how. Your bike is far more valuable than the few repairs needed to get you rolling again.

Bikes are a highly sentimental type of thing. Where there is a will, there is definitely a way to repair even the most broken and beaten of bicycles. Basically, if you love your bike enough to have it serviced, (you are a good bike owner btw), Dave will treat your bike as if it were his own, and breath new life into every moving part. If your bike repair requires new parts, we will order equivalent or upgrade based on your budget and goals.

Let’s get you rolling again!
