40 Point Inspection

Derailleurs: Adjust F&R indexing, limit screws and front derailleurs alignment. Check hanger alignment.

Check/Lube derailleur cables.

Brakes: Inspect pads for wear. Check brake cables. Adjust pad alignment and clearance. Tighten brake levers and calipers to correct torque.

Headset: Check/Adjust bearings.

Tighten handle bars and stem.

Wheels: Adjust hubs/bearings. Clean/Inspect rims. True Wheels. Inspect/Inflate Tires.

Frame & Fork: Wipe-down and wash frame and fork. Inspect/Adjust misalignment. Tighten seat/post. Inspect cables and housing, Check fasteners on racks, baskets, children’s seats

Chain/Drivetrain: Inspect chain for wear. Inspect/ Tighten chainring. Inspect cassette cogs.

Crank/Bottom Bracket: Check bearings. Adjust BB where needed. Tighten pedals and crank arms to accepted torque.

The Complete Overhaul.

Everything in the Pro Tune up and Drivetrain clean, and wheel hub, bottom bracket, and headset bearing overhaul services. Frame is stripped bare and all surfaces are cleaned and fresh grease and/or bearings/races where ever is needed (new parts additional). Stem, crankset, seat post clamp, all bolts removed, surfaces cleaned and fresh grease or carbon paste where ever needed. Sometimes the only way to make a bike ride in silence once again. The go-to for mystery clicks and creaks that cannot be resolved otherwise. If your bike is filthy dirty and rides/sounds horrible compared to when new, this may be your solution to a quiet ride.
